In a surprising collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
